It's a tough market to raise capital, but that's not the primary inhibitor.
The real problem is the builder being someone they are not.
He is not building out of his true identity. She is building from her false self.
Self promotion and self protection are powerful forces.
Each are fuel behind our memetic tendencies.
Each fuel our fear. Our desire to fit in. Our proclivity to copy others. Our desire to status seek.
Ultimately leading us to grab our identity from others. A false identity.
This is perilous for builders.
It leads to a mission that is not theirs.
Someone else's wall with a stair that is burdensome.
If this is you, there is a better way:
Come to know and see your true identity.
From there:
Clarify your authentic mission ("vision").
Communicate your authentic story ("sell").
Create what you were meant to create ("build").
Work in your unique gifting ("operate").
Attract teammates who are authentically gifted where you are weak ("lead").
No one can compete with you on being you.
When you do this:
Your vision is most sustaining.
Your story is most attractive.
Your building is most powerful.
Every ear can tell a true story. This is absolutely the case for investors.
When you build from your true identity, you are much more effective at attracting the right stakeholders.
As important, you more easily repel the wrong stakeholders.

Serving builders in this way is actually downstream from my true self.
It's my story.
I know the pain of building out of a false identity. I also know the rescue of building out of my true identity.
I am an encouraging leader, a passionate communicator, and an authentic connector.
This is my identity. Literally who I am.
When I gained clarity on this, my mission and vision became clear.
Build into and help builders know their true identity. Help them see and clarify their true vision. Help them bring this vision in line with product/market fit (Encouraging Leader).
Help builders clarify and communicate their story in the most authentic and powerful way (Passionate Communicator).
Help builders connect to aligned investors and stakeholders that can make their vision a reality (Authentic Connector).
You see, my vocation is directly downstream from my identity.
It's what I am called to do.
In this work, I literally have no competition.
I am made to help certain builders. Certain builders can only be uniquely helped by me. Its work that literally feels like play to me.
You have this type of work to do too.
It's my mission to help others find this.
To be a HIGHTOWER, a beacon, to light the path to this type of vocational flourishing for authentic builders and aligned investors.
Its a path that starts with helping builders see their true identity. Their true self.
